Hello
I'm Josiah Trawick, I tutor math for all skill levels. My passion is seeing kids find freedom from the pain and confusion that math can often bring. Nothing is holding back a student from learning math and I have seen time and time again students not only see math has possible but begin to fall in love with how it can unlock their education. I'm currently taking in new students for content building, math help, and test prep!
My Story
Originally, I am from Colorado where I was studying math and physics while working for Sylvan Learning as their head tutor. Under amazing guidance and management, I was able to comprehend how students learn. Before any of that I was just a student with a "learning disability.” Dyslexia had been what I thought was a crutch for many years in my education. It wasn't long though before I realized through the vision of my mother and evidence in the classroom that dyslexia was actually one of my super powers. Anything that makes a brain unique makes it powerful. Because of this, I was able to help a wide variety of students, especially those with ADHD, take back the lie that has been told to them and show them that they had an amazing mind. God has now brought my journey to Tennessee, where I continue studying math and physics. I have fallen in love with this amazing state and the awesome people in it. I began freelancing to continue helping students and now am building this company to have an even greater impact and reach.

My vision for education does not stop at tutoring. I have a passion to uproot the current education system and develop one that is appropriate for our current time. We have come so far with our understanding of learning and child development. Many of these new and old strategies are what make my students understand math way faster and better than they thought possible.
